Sketches For Ripley’s Adventure Oblivious

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Below are a few sketches during the creation of the Ripley’s Adventure Oblivious. See first hand how this web comic is formed. The first step is creating and deciding what dialog and action are going to take place in each comic frame. Once this is finalized then the sketching of the comic starts to take place. A black and white version is completed first then the color is added to the comic. As you can see from the first sketch the original title of the comic was Blind and this was changed to Oblivious. Oblivious makes much more sense for Ripley’s state of mind and the action taking place in the comic.
