The Kitsap Humane Society in the Seattle area has decided to think outside the box when it comes to getting their furry four legged residents adopted. They’ve started what they call the Starbucks Puppuccino Pals program. Volunteers take shelter dogs to a local Starbucks every week for a tall Puppuccino. A Starbucks Puppuccino actually is a small cup of whipped cream.
Not only do the dogs get a break from shelter life and a creamy snack, they get exposure to an audience that might not otherwise visit a shelter. The Starbucks posts signs telling customers about the “Puppuccino Pup Of The Week.”
