Puppy Locks Himself Out So He Knocks

December 9, 2018 by

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Dog escapes the house, then knocks on the door to get back inside. Smart Boy! He really rings the doorbell but it sounds like a knock in the video (read below).

A golden retriever puppy named Marshall, living outside Spokane, Washington, managed to ring the doorbell to let his owner know that he was ready to come back inside. The puppy accidentally got out of the house and had locked himself on the porch. According to Marshall’s owner, Greg Basel, has a Nest video doorbell system installed to produce a knocking sound whenever someone comes to ring the bell. As Marshall pawed at the door, the video taken by the doorbell system shows the “knocking” sound as the puppy sniffs the camera. Luckily, his owner was home to let him in and you can hear the door opening at the tail end of the video.

Watch The Video – of the puppy ringing the doorbell.

Note: the video loops so you really only need to watch the first 15 seconds.
