Andrew and his best buddy, Booter, traveled everywhere together. Booter was always by Andrew’s side. They were living the van life. Their life was so exciting and filled with adventure that Andrew started a YouTube Channel called Tiny Home Adventure to document their journeys. But one night this all changed, on their way back home after an adventure, Andrew in his 1976 pickup camper was in an accident with an 18 wheeler. Andrew pulled Booter from the demolished pickup. Andrew found Booter was unconscious, but still breathing. Paramedics showed up, but Andrew refused their help, imploring them to save Booter instead. They rigged up some oxygen to him. His breathing got more labored. They tried CPR. Still, the breathing slowed. Andrew tried mouth to mouth. But Booter, Andrew’s dream companion, died there on the side of the Utah highway in the dark night. The life faded out of him so quickly after he had just been lying happily alongside his best friend on the return from another adventure together.
Andrew’s pickup camper is a complete wreck
At the scene of the accident, a volunteer firefighter named Paul responded to the call whose family happens to breed dogs. He understood what Andrew was going to go through because of the loss of Booter. Paul kept in contact with Andrew and after a few months passed asked Andrew if he would like to meet a Golden puppy.
